Zoo Lights happen Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from November 26th-December 12th. Starting December 17th, Zoo Lights run nightly over Winter Break through January 2nd. The hours are 5-8pm with last entry through the gate at 7:30pm. Rates for ages 3 and up are $12/person for members and $17/person for non-members.

The Anchorage zoo is a must see destination in our opinion- especially if you have 2 hours to kill. The variety of Arctic animals at the zoo is fantastic. We thought it was well maintained and showcases the animals in their natural habitat as much as possible.
