There were a lot of trees and some scenery to look at - which means shady areas to protect you from the sun.

Be prepared to spend 3 to 4 hours to complete the loop with sight seeing. Don't Start on the trail after 2 or 3 in the afternoon. Dark Falls quickly on the trail and ell before sunset. There are wild pigs that come up from the valley floor at night to feed. You will see their rootings as you work around the trail.
