Agnew Meadows Campground, Agnew Meadows Horse Camp, and Agnew Meadows Group Campground are located in the Devils Postpile - Reds Meadow area west of Mammoth Lakes. All three campgrounds were closed through 2015 and 2016 due to wind storm damage to many trees in the area. Campsites at Agnew Meadows became available again for the 2019 season.

Red's Meadows Trailhead - GPS Route REDS MEADOW (Rainbow Falls, Pack Station, Cafe, Showers) Follow the directions above to waypoint AGNWRD where the paved road does a hairpin and continues south. There are several campgrounds along this road, but they tend to be more full than Agnew Meadows because there are better views and less bugs.

The center is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and distributes permits and rents bear-proof canisters. The ranger station is located at 2510 Main Street (Route 203) on the road into Mammoth Lakes. While there is no cost for the permit, there is a fee to take the shuttle or a vehicle on the road to Agnew Meadows.

The Reds Meadow Resort and Pack Station is open with camping supplies. The Devils Postpile Ranger Station will be open daily, 9:00 am -5:00 pm starting June 16. As a reminder, wilderness permits are issued at the Welcome Center in Mammoth Lakes—not at the Ranger Station.
