The Abalone Cove Shoreline Park is the area above Abalone Cove before you reach the beach. Parking in the area is minimal. I suggest coming early and during the week if possible, otherwise you might have a tough time finding a spot. My hope is that you notice how clean the Pacific Ocean is from this view.

This shoreline park is located just 3 minutes away from the wafarer's chapel. You can see the chapel from the bottom of the hiking trail. The parking is free under 30 minutes and 6 dollars for over 30 minutes. We hiked all the way where you can see the little cave located far inside of the rock trail.

The parking lot to Abalone Cove Shoreline Park was already closed (and being a good Yelper, I ignored the hours on the Yelp page that said open from 12:00 to 4:00 PM). There were still cars inside the lot, and we found a little lot down Palos Verdes Dr. with a few open spaces.
