I'm having the same experience. Argos list a very cheap version of the game Jenga (the remove bricks from a tower game) which I thought might be good Xmas fun. Anyway, I kept checking for a few weeks before Xmas and it was always out of stock; and I've just checked again and it's still out of stock.

Good question. Just tried a quick test on the Argos site comparing my postcode in Wigan with a random one in the Orkney Islands and some items show in stock for delivery to Wigan but out of stock for Orkney (not even two day delivery).
