I visited a few vendor/brand websites and observed disclaimers referencing shipping delays. This is a direct quote from a brand exclusive to QVC, “orders are temporarily estimated to ship within 10-14 days from date order was placed”. It appears as though QVC has been more transparent and communicative with its vendors. What about customers?

There are at least 2 or 3 current topics about delivery/shipping times and "issues" and if you look back there are probably dozens of them. In at least 2 of the current ones, the OP at some point in the discussion does mention that the EDD (estimated delivery date) was 3-18.

The delivery dates I get from QVC are always wrong, they usually arrive before the EDD, which should be a good thing, but that means I may not be home when it is delivered. I prefer ordering from Amazon because the delivery dates are accurate. I know most of what I order will arrive in 2 days.

I always need to know in advance when it's out for delivery but they are scanning it right when they are delivering it. Also, off and on (although not lately) a shipment would take a wild ride and end up at a post office in the Bronx and instead of sending it on to Nevada they would ship it back to QVC - I kid you not.

Doorway delivery means the deliveryperson is required to carry the parcel to your doorway and no further. Without that description some people have an expectation that if they want the box carried to another level -- or a specific room-- of their home, the deliveryperson is obligated to do so.
