Sep 29, 2014 · Our eBay/USPS delivery estimates have been fairly accurate. We use eBay shipping labels for our primarily Priority or First Class small packages. The key is that our postal carrier picks up, scans in, and uploads tracking data before 10:30 a.m. 6 days a week.

eBay's takes the seller's HANDLING time into account in their estimates. Your handling time is '2 business days' ... which could come out to as many as 5 days from purchase before it gets to the post office ... at which point the Priority Mail estimate starts.

As for the estimated shipping dates, eBay says right in their Help page quoted above that they don't use the USPS estimates, they use their own, and that they are "Based on seller delivery information from the past", not on the seller's stated handling time. In other words, you can't fool the estimator by stating 3-day handling and then usually shipping in 1 day.

On 2 different items I ordered from Ebay, the estimated delivery date has changed. I realize that the date given is an estimate, but the estimate itself shoulud never change after the purchase has been made. This is a slimy practice that Ebay should not allow.
