I asked a lady , she said she did not think of it, just want to make a delivery and turn and go back out from my street. She did say "sorry". Oct 24, 2011 · A few years ago after a big snow, we shoveled out enough snow so that a mail truck could easily pull in and drop off the mail but he would have to back out a few feet to get out. Our carrier wouldn't put mail in our box. When we called to post office the driver told us he was not allowed to back his truck up while out on a run for safety reasons.
