Feb 24, 2018 · How does Amazon calculate expected delivery date for orders? I ask because I had a customer ask why their expected delivery date was 3 1/2 weeks after it was shipped. Oh and the package is going from Texas to Michigan so it is not like it should take a month to get there. Package was shipped via forst class mail bought through Amazon.

So my question now is why would something take 1 month (technically over 1 month) to be delivered after it's release date on november 1st?

Mar 20, 2008 · Well it depends what online company is. Like Ebay when I ordered a flapper dress and it said the estimated date is on a Tuesday however, it came on a Monday. So they are most likely right and sometimes the delivery come before the estimated delivery or after by 1 day or two.
