They are requesting that I pay for the oil or they will come back and pump it out of my tank. They mailed me a bill for one quantity and then told me verbally that was wrong and gave me a different quantity.

Legally, it's still the oil company's oil. An automatic delivery contract is in part an agreement where the homeowner agrees to purchase all the oil the oil company delivers. Since you don't have a contract with them, it is still their oil.

You won't take delivery. Most retail commodity accounts will exit or ask you to roll the position before expiry.
