My 5 week old feeds every 1.5-2 hrs during the day and close to every 3 at night. Someone also looked at me like I was crazy when I told them this.

Aug 30, 2011 · My LO did he same thing. He is bottle feed and was doing every 2-3 hours (mainly 2 in his first few weeks). He is now 11 weeks old and still doing the same but he only wakes up once in the night/early hours of the morning to be fed. My HV said there was nothing to worry about and it was a "normal" pattern.

At 10 weeks (ie last week) started sleeping for one five hour strech (9-2) then eats like clock work every 2-2.5 hours the rest of the day. We have been able to trick a second 3-4 hour stretch out of him by me feeding him at 2 then DH getting him at 4, he will then sleep till 5-6, but this only works sometimes.
