My community health nurse said in combination to 3-4month sleep regression, it could be that she was getting too much foremilk by feeding so frequently and not enough hindmilk.

Jul 15, 2021 · He is breastfed and in the middle of bringing in the bottle (he's refusing) but sometimes he doesn't make it the 2 hours even! At night, he'll sleep a 3 hour stretch and then he's up every 2 hours. During the day he'll nap either 40 minutes or 2 hours but when he is awake, he's eating every 1.5-2 hours. Seems like a lot to me.

Children don't "usually" eat every 2 hours until 6 months old. That is cray cray. I BF my DD every 3 hours during the day (earlier if she asks for it, but she usually doesn't) and strictly on demand at night. She usually wakes 1-3 times at night. She is a healthy 12lb 3oz.
