    My baby is now 10 weeks old and during the day she is still eating every 1-2 hours, like a newborn. At night she will go for 5-6 hours and then for another break of 2-3 hours, but after that it is every hour or two. She also sleeps for brief times in between almost all of these feeds.

    I have a 7 week old son who has never gone more than 3 hours between a feed.     Your baby is still so tiny and has a small stomach that needs filling regularly. 2-3 hour stretches at this age is really good! I wouldn't try to go longer between feeds yet, you have a growth spurt coming your way when baby will be feeding all the time, day and night.
