Mar 16, 2009 · Update: So a few hours later I somehow nodded off to sleep and slept until 2pm. I was happy about that and thought everything was fixed. I drank some chamomile tea at about midnight and watched tv which usually always makes me fall asleep and at around 1:30am today I fell asleep easily but unfortunately woke up after only about 1 hour of sleep.
My 4 wk old still wakes up every 2-3 hrs for feeding at night so I'm still only sleeping 1-2.5 hrs at most at a time. I give a 4oz bottle of breastmilk at around midnight plus top off with breast for a few minutes so that he's well fed but nothing, the longest he'll sleep is 2.5 hrs if I'm lucky.
