My baby is 8 months and I stopped breastfeeding about a month ago. Still no period since October 2013 (17 months!!). I had pregnancy tests but not for sometime now but no symptoms of pregnancy at all. Couple times now I've gotten period-like cramps, pretty painful but only for a couple hours and quite some days between these pains.

Here, I thought I was finished; I had gone 8 months, no sign of a period, no spotting or anything, and then, yesterday, here I go again. I thought sure I was finished, but apparently not! It is not any heavier or lighter than normal, just like it always has been.
