Jan 08, 2008 · Her first baby weighed almost 10 lbs. She had her vaginally, but should have had a C-Section. She ripped really bad. Her second baby weighed a little less, but still had a vaginal delivery. She ripped again. Personally I don't think an 8 lb. baby is too big to have vaginally and I honestly think you could wait one more week.

My baby is almost 9 lbs and I'm 38 weeks exactly. Drs say that 8lbs is getting on te big side, but really it's pretty normal I know lots of women who had natural and great birth experiences with and 8+lb baby! You will be great!!!!! Good luck
