My guy was born last week at 31 weeks. He was a heavy for his age, and he's doing great, but I know we have at least 4-6 weeks in the nicu. I had been diagnosed with preeclampsia at 24 weeks, so I knew there was a good chance I'd have some level of preemie, but I don't think anything can completely prepare you for the nicu experience.
